Deployed variants
Those games are officially released and appear in Jocly game lists. If you see any particular problem while playing or in the rules, credits or description, please report.
Beta variants
Those games have not been released officially to Jocly as they are not complete. This might missing rules, credits or description, or some details need to be tuned like lighthing or transparency, or we want to release the game with a dedicated set of pieces that we haven't created yet. They are however perfectly playable.
Grid boards
The board is defined with rows and columns (ranks and files).

Several grids on top of each other.

Hexagonal boards
Boards with various shapes made of hexagons.

Alpha variants
Those games are missing major features like a 2D skin or view switch option, or the rules are not coded.
Cubic Chess : on the 6 faces of a dice. More on 360 Chess Authoring.
Desired variants
Those games will be running on Jocly at some point.
- Shogi: the popular Japanese chess. This requires that the Jocly chess module supports piece drop.
- Cyvasse: the game mentioned in George R.R. Martin Song Of Ice And Fire novels. The right rules are yet to be found.
